    We use to have quail about 1,000. But have to go through DNR to raise them. And when got forms to fill out years ago was 75 pages long gave up..But all the fence line brush being taken out no place for them to grow. But seeing brown eggs. Got to call local gal to buy some from here.

    Ah yes! "Dept of Natural Resources" most states want to have control over quail. We, in Pa, don't have to do that for having and raising chickens. I do have some quail but don't need much paper work or license unless I get into selling them.

    I boiled a half dozen eggs according to Barb's mom's recipe and as advertised the eggs turned out perfect. I couldn't be more pleased. The recipe is in the cookbook with it's very own star. :)

    :D Jerry, You are very funny. Yes, that is the very classy way to make boiled eggs. (3 mins for soft and 10 for hard) You get no green on the outside of the yolk and they are very delicate tasting.
