Oh No Cheryl your in for it! Hehe Did you say stilts? ( photo / image / picture from Mrs. Galeassi's Garden ) I actually have this one as a maybe for Chelsea and My eldest wants the mini barn one and Maddie wants the small one with the fence. We have to get the tiny ones cause our space is limited. But Donna I have a pic for you if your sandbox is bigger. I really love these ones. ( photo / image / picture from Mrs. Galeassi's Garden )
Ok here's where we are so far, I think we will paint them this week, Michaels had acrylic paint 3 for a dollar so I grabbed some tonight. Fairy garden in the making! ( photo / image / picture from Mrs. Galeassi's Garden )
I find this step-for-step series of fotos quite interesting to follow. It was quite nice that you included your child in the project. I am looking forward to seeing it completed and in its final position. Nice work, Miz G.
June 16th Fairy Garden ( photo / image / picture from Mrs. Galeassi's Garden ) Here's an update. Some of the sedum stone crop didn't make it. I was putting it outside on my walkway during the day for a bit but the succulents didn't take to it. To hot! So I keep it by windows, and its still a hit with the kids and the fairies.
I think you've done great in repurposing that sand box. And I really like the little town/village you've created! To me it looks like there's a one-room school (or church). A barn. And a beach house on stilts. Hmmm... I imagine that other building (to the left of the "stilts" could be a bath house . :-D Fun stuff...
