My first ever Bromelaid bloomed today.

    Wow, wish I could find Bromeliads for $2.00, but its probably good that I haven't because I might go broker, lol. :D Looks like you neglected it very well, keep up the good work. :-D

    daisybean I'm sorry i left you out.Barb will never forget me taking off on my little Pony tractor mower and went down in the old country lane around my old home place and down to my brothers pond and deer stands and took pictures along the way.I had fun.I will do it again except domn to the creek that runs through.

    No I erased them. I had to make room on photo bucket but now I would have them in plant Stew.

    She also shows us the peacocks in her yard , her puppy, and great flowers.

    We enjoy her lots.

    Thanks but I really hate the peacocks as does dooley and dr.Someone just dropped them of about a year and a half ago and their still around.They dug up lots of my bulbs and poop on my deck.

    I don't care for peacocks much either though they're pretty. One tried to chase me at a zoo once. He seemed mean and aggressive. Around here, people put fake (plastic) owls on the piers to help keep the ducks and geese off. They make a terrible mess. I don't think it works completely... but maybe peacocks don't like owls either.

    My views exactly.. We used to have ducks here on the farm. but the lawn was unlivable ......Outter here .

    Glenda, thanks for the great info, now I know why some of the leaves on Mom's dried up, too close to the window.

    I also bought a Caribbean Striped Agave.. real for $1.00
    It is looking great .

    Never pay $100......for a plant in my opinion.

    Too much light kills them......Bromeliads ..
