My first quilts!

    What wonderful, talented people here. Kaseylib the colors and combinations are fantastic! Toni I am so glad you shared yours too. I hadn't seen them.

    Kaseylib it looks like an incredible amount of detail work to applique so many blocks. It looks terrific now even without the finishing touches.

    It's a month later, and now I've finally finished the wall hanging and it's up on my wall (here's a photo). I get totally intimidated when it comes to the quilting part of projects, but I trudged through and am happy with the results. Now I'm looking for another project (or two!) to get me through the late winter months. The local quilters are now working on felted wool purses and mittens...have any of you ever done this? I love the look of them and am anxious to give it a try.

    Awesome. I love the blocks individually and the spacing and piecing together that you did looks just great. Each square is like a little story scene! I especially like the one of the bears in the tree. Great job. Beautiful.
