It will probably be another 6 years before it's finished from fence to fence. The fountain equpt has already been tested. Lilies don't like moving water. In the main pond were putting a barrier of reeds and taller plants in around the fountain to muffle the turbulance of the water. Right now the West boarder reatining wall is being built slowly. Me and dad havn't been able to work on it lately because of the hot summer sun. In the fall when things cool off, we'll be as busy as bees out there providing the budget alows it. My imspiration comes from the Dallas Arboretum. I know the materials can be bought at the hardwere store. My dad does alot of research in the area to find the best prices and deals on supplies. Ebay helps. That's where we have gotten some of our plants. Cheaper better with a limited budget. But in cool temperatures, the project moves pretty steady. We watch HGTV and DIY network alot to get ideas that cost little. But with low prices time, seems to move slowly.
