    Hi Bliss,
i am hopless with colours,..oh i see them no problem,..its putting a name to the colour,.."Duck Egg Blue" was a colour that led me astray?,..was it blue or light green?.

As for the Lobelia,..that is what i always presumed it was and never bothered to check,..of late i am told it is Campanula portenschlagiana,..they look alike, .

    Hi Cheryl,
ah yes better to view at home,..you can turn up the sound for the music,..though its not always everyones cup of tea.

That Scotch Broom has caught the attention of quite a good few people,..and not just here in the forum,..it is very eyecatching,..imagine how it would light up a dark area of a garden.

I had visitors in the garden over the weekend,..both Clergy from Rome,..one a French Priest,..the other a Nun,..the Nun is Australian,..they are based in Rome,..sooo i had to have the garden looking even better than how it appeared in the video,...many many changes,..but they will appear in the next video.

Your garden's delightful. :D I particularly enjoy all the stone work around the plants. My mother had a broom like yours years ago. They're such showy bushes.

    Hi Cheryl,
i had to get rid of a permanent garden seat i had in order to make way for new flowers grown from seeds,..including seven Hollyhocks.

The permanent seat,..it was a railway sleeper.

The soil is very good as this was one spot where i dumped dead headed roses.

Hi Philip--I love how you have constructed your garden, how it is such a nice mixture of walkways, walls, (& yes benches, even if they are then removed) and of course your beautiful forest of roses, aquilegia, broom, etc. Beautiful place you have there. So peaceful.

    Hi Cayuga Morning,
those little walkways are an asset when you have two dogs,..they have many routes to take in order to get out of my way,..in a hurry, :) .

Luckily i still have one comfortable seat to sit on,..to enjoy those roses,..however i never thought i would see the day i would have to remove one,..it was all down to sowing seeds and seedlings to be planted out,..for example 38 Larkspur and nearly as many Foxglove and Lupin,..some of the latter have started to bloom.

    Hi Cheryl,
that seat as i mentioned was a railway sleeper,..very heavy wood,..the backrest was a hatch door from a sunken boat,..its safe in my shed until someday it can have a coming out party, lol.
