Beautiful Rose. It looks so fresh and cool with the water droplets on it.

Hi Philip, Glad to hear from you. Yes, I agree, yellow plants are like lights in the garden. They pop!

    Hi Carolyn,
that yellow rose indicates our weather at present,..humid with a heavy mist which is almost invisible to the naked eye.

Philip, Our weather is COMPLETELY opposite yours....HOT HOT HOT and HOTTER. Oh, and DRY DRY DRY and DRIER...take your choice of the forecast... :'( I am sure hoping and praying for some rain. One day a couple weeks ago the temperature was 102f and humid. AWFUL! most days here it is in the 90's.

Stratsmom, I agree! Philip, placing the yellow poppies so that they can dangle is a great idea.

Carolyn, we have been having a dought in New England as well. I am out with the soaker hoses, and hoping I do not run the well dry. Last night we got rain for the first time in weeks :).

Philip wasn't it last fall that your area had flood conditions?

Our water runs just about 24/7 here. With an acre of garden or more and doing 4 farmers markets it takes a lot of produce and that takes a lot of water. I worry about our well, too.

Philip, I would have a hard time with rain like that. It would get my spirits low. Fortunately your garden seems to be prospering very well, in spite of or maybe because of the rain. Glad to hear you have a sprouted clivia. I have 4 sprouted Brugmansia seedlings that are doing quite well so far.
