    Great pix, Philip!
I got just enough rose bushes, but I will try to propagate some of the dwarf varieties.
Most bushes looked terrible after the very harsh winter.
Parts of the roots are dry and only a couple of green stems poking up.

You're garden looks delightful Philip. :stew2:

I can relate to the plants-growing-like-weeds. :D We've got foxgloves, a brown-leaved small Geranium, Astrantia and the old, white Vickarage roses (we call them that in Norwegian) sprouting all over the place, and I have to pull them up. :(

    Thanks Calin,
sorry to see your rose bushes suffered over the winter,..they being dry is something that never happens here,..soooo much moisture between early morning mists,..drizzle and rain,.. its Mildew we fight on a weekly basis,..followed by Black Spot and Rust,..however using my own mixture of household liquids it fights them off,..seldom do i see Aphids,..i wish you luck with the propagation.

    Hi Droopy,
thank you for the nice comments,..ah the Vickarage Roses,..its a very long time since i heard that name,..so long that i had forgotten,..yes we have them here but not in my garden,..though i suspect i may be caring for one thinking it was a seedling rose,..the small thorns in abundance has me thinking i am being fooled.

I have started hanging plants on the walls.

Your blooms look good enough to eat! I don't think you should let me into your garden if I come knocking. :D

    Hi Droopy,
funny you should mention visiting,..i have two visitors to the garden today from Maine,USA,..so i am getting used to visitors from abroad.

The new addition to the garden,..for contrast in a dark area,..i took cuttings last summer when exploring one of the islands,..it was in a long ago abandoned garden.

My new garden,..lol,..i went into the local florist looking for a glass dome or something similar to overwinter a Clivia,..they had the glass pear shaped bottle,..its 18 inches high and 12 inches wide,..it was priced £38/$47,..but gave it to me for £20/$24.7463,..i added some pebbles,..made a cone from plastic fencing covered it with coconut fiber,..then added miniature ferns to the tip and the arms protruding from the cone.

    Hi Cheryl,
yes that Fuchsia is starting to light up against the greenery,..its about three foot high at present and i am trying to make it grow like a standard type plant.

Baby roses,..i kept five for myself as they should be golden orange blooms and possibly a yellow,..shy to flower as yet but they are nearly four foot high.

Oh, my! That pear garden of yours is really something else. :D I love your hollyhocks and larkspurs. I've never seen a hollyhock like that around here. I guess we're too cold for them.
