    Hi Philip, I love the video of your friends' garden. Both boats are great: the planted one and the beautiful blue one. I also like their planter by the stairs and their window boxes. Nicely done. The path is also very appealing.

    Please give a birthday wish to your Hudson. Such a long life!

    Philip--Poor ole girl. She is very cute. Thank goodness she has you to love her. We have had two dogs now that we saw through their aged years. They were no less loveable of course but did require different care.

    Hi Cayuga Morning,
    you having gone through the doggy aging process with your own two dogs will understand how difficult it can be,..and with Hudson just past 18 years old it can be tooooo much at times,..but as she is not suffering i will let her enjoy what little she has.

    Philip--Yes I do know. Towards the end with one of our dogs, we had to carry her outside in the winter to do her business. She was an Old English sheepdog, and thus quite large. But I agree with you, so long as they are not in pain, it is important to let them enjoy what they have.

    Today was a good day with Hudson,..i only had to change her bedding once,..at 0600hrs this morning,..most days its at least twice and up to three times.

    ======================================================

    The link to the picture below shows a rose grown from a seed,..its Apricot or Peach in colour as compared to the parent rose bush bloom which is yellow,..i waited until both roses were at the same growth stage to photograph them for comparison,..click on the picture for a tad bigger size.

    The images are still in this Blog,..but i don't use the Blog anymore.

    Is she leaking? Our OE sheepdog began leaking as she aged. We took her to the vet clinic associated with Tufts University (a veterinary college) and they proscribed Acutrim (Phenylpropanolamine). It helped a lot. In the US, acutrim is an over the counter drug proscribed to reduce appetite. it has the side effect of tightening the uretor, thus reducing leaking. Hope this helps.
