well, I have the gift certificates for Miss Molly's tea room in Medina... one of my customers stopped today and dropped them off. we can all go together. it is a very reasonable place to go with excellent food.

Well, I am enjoying this thread....now, what can I suggest? My daughter turned me on to "bubble" tea, whatever that is. I think it is from Thailand & the "bubbles" might be something like tapioca. Sounds weird but it was interesting. Who would think of tea with texture? I am probably appalling all you Irish folk with the idea of bubbles in your tea.

@Cayuga Morning Bubble tea is from Taiwan as far as I know, and I have had it many times on my travel to there. Also I'm Irish and I'm not appalled :D

I am always amazed at how a rose appears before it is fully opened,..such a change.

Rose ( Rosa Memorie ),..also known as 'Icecream',..before its fully developed.

must have been the Indy 500? next time let me know. I will personally drive you to miss molly's for tea and food. whatever she has on the menu that day.

Eileen... if the rodents ate your arum bulb be thankful. Mine rotted this Spring. as I was cleaning up the flowerbed I noticed a depression where they were supposed to be. I put my finger in the depression and it was a rotted mushy bulb... and the stench? WHOO WHEE! I couldn't get the smell off my fingers. disgusting!

Now you come to mention it Carolyn that's probably what happened to mine. Ian thought maybe a cat had been using our garden when he found a buried stinky pile of 'stuff.' It never occurred to me that it may have been the arum which had rotted. :setc_033:

Gosh Philip you have some of the most unique Aquilegia's I've ever seen. Mine are all the usual shapes but I love them anyway.

I always look forward to seeing your flowers but your roses are a firm favourite. Lauries Golden Orange is such a wonderful colour and shape. I must keep an eye out for one of a similar one as I don't have any orange roses.

Eileen,..i was thinking how you liked that 'Lauries Golden Orange' when it bloomed,..its the first from that bush this year and its a big rose,..the White has also produced a huge bloom,..six inches across,..so much for the liquid seaweed i fed them.
I wish i could take a cutting of your favorite rose and when it takes send it to you,..knock on wood :)
