That's good to know, PN. We're planning a North Sea Shores adventure, with Scotland, Ireland, Shetland, the Faroes and Iceland, but I could easily break the trip into five single trips.
Where i live is right in the middle of Ireland,so by train to the east or west coast,Dublin or Galway,is very direct, and short journeys, yes do put my area on your list,it would be awesome having someone here to show you around.
I am in awe You have paradise at your fingertips. Stunning. :-D THanks for sharing your world with us. These piccies will make me dream good dreams.
Hi Palm Tree, it is like paradise here though we tend to take it for granted, its only when someone from outside looks in and comments, the realization hits you. If i were taking a trip down river i would start from the location below. What a wonderful, wonderful thread Philip. Such peaceful thoughts come to mind looking through your photos. I am green with envy. Too much goes on here in the states, at least in the area I'm in. it's threads like this that make a nice morning cup of tea and sitdown to computer worth it.
Thanks Nicole, i usually have my camera with me once i leave the house, just a habit, and i love letting others see what i see,so your remark about sitting down with tea in hand and browsing through this thread encourages me to keep it going. The following Photo Story is of the Town i live in,only a population of 17,000 give or take, all the pictures are within walking distance from my house. Video===Athlone. Your gardens conjure up thoughts of serenity. I could sit and listen to the morning birds in a place like that...forever. Lol, Toni got me with the gnome!!!
Hi Nichole, ooooh,..The Gnome,..tee hee!,..i was wary when i spotted it,..tempted yes,..lol. Yes you could sit and relax in my garden,..its quiet,..the dogs and cats behave,..no barking,..and don't play with the flowers,..the latter is instructions for the cats, .
Absolutely spellbinding presentation Phil and the flowers are an inspiration for the spring and summer. Thank you, Jerry
