You know, Loggie— I looked more closely at that pic you are presently using, to focus on your new pup. It really does have a pleasant face. There are some dog races that absolutely seem to convey expression. Golden retrievers is certainly one.
Thank you Sjoerd and yes the breed does have the expression in the face, that's one of the reasons that we like them.
Thank you Sjoerd and Pacnorwest, had to weigh him this morning for his worming suspension, he's gained 2kg in 2 weeks, now he's 9.03kg.
You must be buzzy with the River. They do take a bit of time and watching to train. How the potty training going ? It nice River has the older dog to look up to and learn from. I am glad we are past the poppy stage .
Thanks Pacnorwest, he does take up a lot of time, the potty training is working well, he's starting to go to the door to go out. I always have to take him separately to do his business and a wee, even though it can be a minute afterwards, which is a bit annoying but he's only 11 weeks. Still keep a eye on him if he gets distracted, the late afternoons he's more active so he wants to go out more. I have to watch over him when he's playing with Berry because berry has a heamatoma in his ear flap but not serious, i have to make sure that River doesn't hurt it. Berry had his ear checked but they don't operate on them anymore unless it's very serious.
