My golden retrievers

Yesterday was sent this video,8 weeks old and we'll have him on Wednesday, they haven't got the collars on now.

 

Went to get River today.

 

Definitely zonked out. Play hard, eat lots and sleep. What a cutie pie…

He's found the other place that the others used to sleep at his age but eventually grow out of.

Thank you Sjoerd, it's been a long time since we had a puppy and he was a bit of a shock to the system but lovely and really pleased about him. The breeder phoned us up yesterday to see how we all were getting on, never had any other breeders do that but we could call them. He weighs 6.7kg so getting a bit heavy and loves his food.

 

Such a sweet face! Aren't puppies FUN? Most times they are, but lately mine is turning into a land shark with his teething haha
I suspect retriever puppies are much calmer than German Shepherd puppies?

 

This is why I like dogs more than cats. They have such innocent and adorable faces, but I feel like they are more genuine and really love us. I am really excited to get myself a dog, and the Golden Retriever looks like a solid choice for sure

 

Thank you @Netty golden retriever puppies are the same as German Shepherds, they're very mouthy and do zoomies when you want to settle down for the evening, but they're fun to have, he's learning very quickly with the toilet training, he goes to the back door when he wants to go but i still have to watch him. This morning he wouldn't settle down so i got the vacuum out, that did the trick.
@Supaju91 yes a golden retriever is a good breed all round, they love everyone, make sure that you find a good breeder and look around. The breeder that we got River from has done it for about 40 years and she does judging and a lot of other things to do with the breed. She said have to be careful with breeders some are not good, i don't want to put you off. Do you live in the UK?

Logan I am so happy for you .. this pup will bring so much joy. And …Play time…. Is fun time. There are so many new toys on the market for pups now. Every time I order a new toy the dogs they know it’s for them even before I open it. They are pretty good at ready body language.
