These daylilies are very pretty. Course it is too early for blooms here. They are going to be early this year. Our daylily club is hosting a big get together of other regional clubs in July. There is a worry that there will only be reblooms & late varieties in bloom. We were to have our first iris walk in May & it is cancelled because the iris garden is in bloom now. I'm going on Sunday.

Next weekend I've got plans on going back to the farm. Not that I even have room for more daylilies right now... I'd just love to see them all in bloom. Plus... I owe Stratsmom one.
That's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it! :-D

Very pretty! I adore daylilies. I have several different colors & always add one or two new ones each year. Enjoy them!

These are just beautiful. I can't wait to see what will happen to the bulbs we planted. I never did bulbs before.

And today... this one. Which isn't one of the new ones, but one I planted LAST spring that never grew or flowered. Good thing I kept all the labels.

And today's is... I have no clue! It looks nothing like any of the one's I got from the daylily farm... or the one's I bought the year before???
I sent it's portrait to the farm, maybe they can help me. I'll definitely show them the photo when I go on Saturday.
    No matter it's name, I think it's a keeper!

And next in line.... Evening Enchantment.
It's looking a little "worn" from being in the heat and sun all day. Hopefully I can get a better photo on the next bloom. But... here it is!

The unknown daylily looks so pretty someone has to have a name. The ruffled border is unusual. Has the Catherine Woodbury set any buds yet?

Deanna.... you know what they say about good things in small packages? That's how I feel about the Tropical Delight. He packs a big punch of cuteness among the other ones!

Jerry... I'll make a point to ask the farm this weekend about the unknown one.
Catherine Woodbury is categorized as a "mid blooming" along with the other two remaining ones... Pearl Harbor, Ice Carnival. I have no idea when "mid" is... but I'm guess mid May since they said that's the best time to catch most things in bloom there.

And here's Pearl Harbor. It's actually a little more "peachy-colored" in real life.

That leaves two more... plus the three new ones!

And a little later on in the morning, I noticed that one of the very new ones bloomed. I can't take any credit for it since it was about to bloom when I planted it. But... she shouldn't be left out, right?
    This is Carolyn Hendrix

    Nope... you're not seeing double.

    Daylily - unknown #2 ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden )

This one bloomed today. Again... it's not one I got from the Daylily Farm last fall or just the other day. The only thing I can think of is that the one's I bought from one of the big box stores last spring are not the one's pictured on the label (just like that other "unknown" from the other day).
It does look remarkably like the "Carolyn Hendrix" I just bought... so I went back to make sure where I planted her. And there's no way it's the "Carolyn" since she's in the old tub on the other side of the yard.
    :headscratch:
