He is a keeper..so precious. I think some people are thinking it is easier to dump them off in the country or somewhere where they do not have to give them to someplace that might euthanize them. Our dog pound is so hard to find a small dog at...the place has a list of the preferred clients ( money contributors or friends) and even if you could give the dog a good home you cannot get it..I went and saved a rescue dog (my cairn terrier) because the small dogs are so hard to find around here. So many people want them . Our dog pound has you fill out a lot of papers and they make phone calls to relatives etc. to see if you even qualify to have a pet...and the price is high to adopt one...
