Capt,I love it and your talent amazes me.I would have quit on it a long time ago.It has to be display so the world can enjoy it.You and Cranbrook have a great talent and both are so different than the other and yet all wood is used.
I thought that some of you might enjoy the statistics of the midel. It is 44 inches long, 7 inches wide and 32 inches tall. I have been putting some more of the standing rigging on the past few days. It's been too hot and wet to be outside. My shop has air conditioning so I work on it.
CK I didn't realise your ship was quite so big!! Over 3 and a half feet long and nearly three feet tall. 8) Where will you display it once it's finished? I'd have it in the middle of my living room on the coffee table to that it would be the focal point - but - no-one would be allowed to touch it - ever. I'd hate anyone to damage it.
Eileen, I haven't figured that out yet! We have a big tv cabinet and entertainment center maybe on top of that. It will have to be enclosed so I won't have to dust it!
Excellent but where is the glass bottle? I am just kidding. Congratulate yourself on a job well done!
