Wee-Hoo! That was quick. Sounds like winter time is coming-on fast there. Have you guys plans for the winter? Vacation or something?
Sjoerd I only wish! We have no plans to vacation unfortunately. Bob still works as much as he can. Ahh, I’d like to spend some time someplace warm for a bit of the winter! Hopefully this cold blast is short lived, and we’ll be back to more usual autumn weather. The trees haven’t let their leaves go yet, so there is still all that clean up to do. It’s a bittersweet time of year for me. I turn my attention to indoor plants. I’ve completed the big “migration” of several large plants that spend summer out. Filling rooms with a lovely green I also enlarged my collection of succulents so it’s interesting to tend them. Once a gardener, always a gardener!
We are hoping to take a couple of days off to go and see the rutting deer and fall tree colours in a couple of weeks. Fingers crossed that it turns out oké. It is a bittersweet time of year for me as well now. To combat that I emerse myself in plans for the coming season, like what to plant and where. I enjoy house plants as well. I could not do without them. We rotate them from time to time and replace some.
