I love it all! Such pretty colors and filling in nicely. Do wave petunias come in red? I think they trail nicely. They are definitely full sun flowers. I really like what you did with the chiminea.

I haven't seen waves in red, but I think they are on the market now.

Wait, Wait!!!! I went and looked in my seed catalog and there are red wave petunias. There is the Easy Wave series and the Ramblin' Wave series.

well its end of the year almost for my annuals and thought i would update on this post in way of thanks to everyones help start of the year.

its quite nice to look back through the pics to see how its started off.

so this is what we have been looking at most of the summer, the impatiens loved it. with minimal care, they have filled out the chiminea making it a real feature of the garden.

yep very happy with them considering how shaded that corner of the house is.

just a shame i cant keep them that size until next year :)

going to try painting some natural yoghurt over the cracks to encourage moss growth which should finish it off nicely.

Well, I think that your chiminea project turned out perfectly, mate. Chapeau!

Do you already have ideas of what you will grow in it next year?--something different, or the same?

thanks sjoerd It worked so well i don't plan to mess with a good thing.

all i do plan is to get some lichen, and moss growing on it. to make it look more aged
