Almost everyone around here is friendly--busy with their own lives and work, but willing to take a moment to chat or lend a hand. That is why I was so dismayed by the previous neighbor who carried a little black cloud around with her, spreading gloom! I think the new neighbors will be just fine.
We just found out a few weeks ago the neighbor man right next door to us is related to us. He has lived there for 2 years and a while back some of his recycling blew in our yard and it had his name on it. I told my husband about it but then we got busy with things. Then one day he told my husband that his aunt was dying and sure enough, my husbands aunt was dying too. He said is her name Nancy S......? and sure enough it was. Small world. He is a younger man and travels a lot for work so we never got to know him before this. Small world.
