You mean the pollen just doesn't stick to their feet and legs? There is a real sack there that they put the pollen in????

I really did not know that....actually never wanted to get near enough to find out. :D

Sjoerd, Your lottie really is coming along nicely. Thanks for showing it off.

We are looking like Winter here yet but if we look hard, we can see little green things, very near the ground, popping out.

    Thanks KK.

Thanks so much, HANK--I'll do that, mate. Thanks for the the compliment on the lottie's appearance. A clean jelly jar is always handy to have around. ;)

Thanks much, CALIN--...a veggie botanical garden. I shall have to remember that one.

    Thanks you EG.

WARE--The pollen does indeed stick to the back legs and are held in place with hairs. The segment of the hind legs where the pollen comes to be stored are slightly concave, but no real pouch in the sense of something like a bike pannier or pony express mail pouch.
Thanks for your nice words. You say the nicest things.
I hope that the winter there soon passes. It is high time, but doesn't it give you a good feeling to see those little green points popping up? :)
