Stunning foto's Droopy. I liked them all. The horse foto's were particularly interesting to me. Annnnd Congrats on your new avatar. I keep thinking about developing a new one, but other things just keep getting in the way.

Great foto's and interesting text. Meid, I like it when you post things.

Interesting about the red sky...and what it means there. Here there is a saying," Morgen rood, water in de sloot". Which means morning red, water in the canal---implying that it will rain and fill the canal with more water.

I've heard of the saying "Red Sky at Night... Sailor's Delight". Not sure if it means good sailing that night... or that it'll bring good sailing the next day?

    Thanks waretrop. :stew2:

    Sjoerd, thanks a lot. :D

Our red sky-saying goes like this in translation:

If the evening's red and the morning's grey outside's a good place to stay.
If the evening's gray and the morning's read you might as well stay in bed.

Or words to that effect. If I translated it word by word it wouldn't rhyme. :D

So, Cheryl, I guess it means good sailing weather the day after. :D

    Thanks Philip. :D

Our weather is now wintery. We've got a little dusting of snow, about 5 cm or 2 inches, and the temps are between -3°C/26°F and -8°C/17°F. Not very cold compared to what some Stewbies have, but cold for coastal Norway.
