Hiyah Toni--I believe that hanging plant above Roos is the Rhipsalis cassutha, some folks call it "Mistletoe Cactus", but I haven't had any luck with it. ;) :'(

The cats seem to show no interest in it and I pinch off a couple of "links" from time to time.
It bloomed this year and last. Tiny, uninteresting blooms.

I believe that the one you call "Pencil Cactus" is an upright, stiff cactus sort, in come ways resembling an asparagus plant sort that I once saw.

I do appreciate the warning though...one can never be too careful.

Oh my - and here I thought are those correspondence trays and the cats are deciding (sleeping on it as the saying goes) which mail to open first?
    They are beautiful cats Sjoerd.
Incidently not only cats like confined spaces. I found that my dog also prefers a catbed after he , in a jealous fit, decided to sleep in Felix's bed.
It must be the extra warmth. 8)
