Oh boy the neighborhood drama never ending. Maybe someone would be interested in contacting the northwest spay and neuter program for community cats. Healthier and safer. https://nwspayneuter.org/programs/community-cats/ Daniel for keeping cats out of your garden have you tried mint spray. It works on cats, rabbits, squirrels around here. Luckily there are several hawks and owls which live in nearby trees which keep the mice population in check. Even at night when the bats show up they snack on any flying insects. Even the skeeter population is in check. I know cause they usually go after me in a New York minute. Not one bite so far… knock on wood. Speaking of skeeters I heard on the news that Colorado has had cases of the plague from fleas on wild animals. Important reason not to touch wild animals.

When I was out picking cherries, I heard owls hooting. I put up a barn owl house, years ago, but as far as I know they have never nested there. I've seen hawks flying over head. The hens don't seem to mind. Maybe I should put up some bat houses!
