I haven't ordered a thing...not because I didn't want to but because of the lack of space for them...I will wait and see what I lost from the winter and just visit the nurserys around here.

Yes, I have had those roses through the years from spring hills...they are beautiful...now all I have to do is quit reading about new plants and stay off of their sites and I might make it without ordering....HELP...

I use to trade on Garden Web years ago. Out of the blue one of traders e-mailed me.Long list of plants. If I want any just mark what ones. And would send in spring. Like a kid in Candy Shop. When I got flowers sprayed. He would e-mail to be watching for package. (((Next))) day huge package.

hummerbum, this is my first real attempt at starting flowers from seed. So I figure I'd start small to see how it goes.

I got some seeds from Sample Seeds, the seedlings are doing great :) Each variety I got took only 3 or 4 days to sprout!

Spring has sprung for me! The bulbs & flowers are out on the racks at WallyW.Sometimes I wonder just how much of this stuff actually comes into flower LOL. I bought some Caladium bulbs. They are nice. Now,to keep them because it is much too early in this area for starting caladiums.Just so I don't do like last year.I stuck 3 or 4 nice bulbs somewhere & swore the dog ate them. They turned up much later when I saw this plant growing from behind a bench.

I got a notice on Saturday that the remainder of my Springhill order has been shipped and should arrive on Thursday.
Haven't heard from Michigan Bulb or High Country gardens but I am in the process of getting all the new homes ready.

I'm not sure I'm going to mail order this year. But,I still have plenty of time.
I visited one of my favorite nurseries yesterday. Pleasant Valley. They have just opened up their large greenhouse section that they only use in the spring. It was heavenly! I bought an annual.A pretty purple verbena. The few whiteflies I have will be happy!
