    phttttttt! where's the snow sjoerd??? it's not fair i tell ya! we're getting buried here, again!

    wonderful post and pics sjoerd. it's amazing to see those ships sitting in ice covered waters. can't wait to see pics of the 'gifted' bulbs come spring.

    Thanks loads, Bunkie. I don't know where the snow is...it is raining here constantly now. :(

    I'm glad that you liked the post 'n pics. I hope that there will be some flowers to photograph come spring.

    And as per usual you are already plannign and planting in your minds eye.
    trench gardening, crop rotation, all good thoughts milling around in your head.
    You are the true, constant gardener. :)

    Cajunbelle + Palmpie-- thanks. Yes I am hoping for some colour in the spring...but my hope is guarded because of the quality of the bulbs, and the fact that it hasd not stopped raining since their planting.

    I always love reading anything you write.Its another world out your direction.I love to visit the lottie and all the ships that are in.I hope your freebies survive all the wetness of the rain.I'll be looking forward to all the pretty blooms.Thank you for the great narrative again.

    I can feel that things are starting to happen again here. I have a Clematis that I rooted from a cutting indoors in my coldest room, and it has green leaves and a couple of miniscule buds already.
