Organic pest control advice needed.

    Would this also help with grasshoppers eating leaves on plants (like Sevin Dust)... on Cannas etc?

    Cheryl, Do you mean the DE? I don't think it will deter the grasshoppers any at all...But wait...Do an experiment and see. If the postage was economical I would send you some...but it is probably cheaper to just go buy some non-oranic at lowes or home depot and try it. I bought a bag there for the garden a couple years ago, I think it was a yellow bag marketed by Safer. It was in the gardening section with fertilizers and insecticide stuff.

    I have not tried the spray on grasshoppers but give it a try. Might have to make it a tad stronger. Just add an extra tbsp. of shampoo and see. It probably will take a bit longer to kill them since they are larger and hard bodied critters.
