Are you sure??? Dial-up computers will take a while to load.I can make them where you can click on the pics to see a larger image if that will help? Like this maybe??
Mark loves the pics PepperDude. He is very envious, his dream car is a corvette stingray. Mako shark style he tells me....means nothing to me! hehehe.
My husband loves cars too Pepperdude. His favorite car was his 1969 Chevelle S.S that his mother sold on him while he was out west LOL And thanks...I'm one of those dial-up users who appreciates your smaller picture size My other hobbies include photography, genealogy, interior decorating and reading. My gardens are my first love so I read alot about plants etc in the winter months.
Hobbies? hmm... I really love gardening, flowers, and starting plants from seeds. I like to go for walks. crafts once in great while. hm..Did I mention gardening. Well I still have 2 that are in school-that can keep one busy. I'm planning an open house for next spring for my son when he graduates. And I like flowers (oh I mentioned that) o.k. then I think you get the idea.
I just like getting outside in the sunshine - so thats not a lot!!! I like taking photos. I used to be a keen Family Historian. I still dabble in it but have ran out of family. I also like Local History.
Number 4 did it for Mark PD. Now he is looking at them on the web to see if any are for sale around here! MEN!! He is now showing me them in different colours, with their lights popped open, bonets down and so on....you can tell what an exciting night I am having. Carol, our family keep trying to get into doing our family tree and my Uncle has now taken over the file, but boy is it a struggle. Common names and a lot of records destroyed in the blitz!
My hobbies vary by season- I'm dead passionate about my garden until it all goes to pot around mid-August! But it'll kick back in come Spring, when I will have glorious visions of beans and peas and tomatoes... I paint when the weather's bad, animals/wildlife mostly but spring prairie flowers too. And I just did a "live" performance piece, painting a parable while the speaker taught it. Any time the weather is good, hiking and sketching the views. And again, weather permitting, off-road bicycling. I also fiddle with sewing on Grandma's antique machine, playing with my goats, bunnies, cats, etc. some genealogy (see my blog about my family castle!), writing, beading a bit, trying to convince my '49 ford pickup to run (it simply Won't listen and several folks have told me that's because I went and named it Daffodil). Those are most of my for-fun hobbies, trying to keep up with a seriously disabled daughter, working with DH to assist with the youth group, etc. take up the rest of it! Edit- almost forgot, I can shear a sheep and turn it into a crocheted handspun shawl if I ever find myself with nothing to do- I've done it before, lol!
The name "Evil Roy" comes from one hobby, Cowboy Action Shooting. I'm also a Ham Radio operator (KE5EOT) and Storm Spotter. I dabble in photography and do a little wood working around the house. I don't have one of the fancy cars, but I do all of the work on my '71 Dodge pickup. I also get to help a friend work on this one, and I get to drive it occasionally. It's a 1936 Rolls Royce and is one of only 25 of this model made. It also took 1st place at the National Championships last year.
Those automobiles are wonderful PepperDude and Evil Roy.I love that Rolls Royce and any old autos but my favorites is the 57 Chevy and 57 Dodge and Pontiacs. We had a an old 55 Packard many years ago.
Just a quick note i'm headed out the door right now to the 2008 Burnsville Car, Truck, and tractor show. Pics later this evening. They added tractors this year so should be pretty interesting .
