Hi Sjored, I googled the pictures of the beans you suggested and I am all inspired for the next Spring! I will keep you posted on the progress as I go. This year I struggled with cucumber beetles a lot and lost all cucumbers and melon wines to bacterial wilt. So, now that we have Fall weather here and cucumber beetles gone my cucumber wine that I started late Summer is bearing fruits finally! Other plants did well this year. We will do something to recover the data from the hard disk; so far a professional at my husband's work looked at it and it is not running at all!

Thank you! Cucumber are doing well, the size is small as compare to the Summer harvest but we are picking 1-2 everyday! So no complaints
You know what's tasty don't you. You guys ought to have some time to harvest more of those cues. Can you gauge when the season will be over there?
Looks like our first frost will be in the first week of November. So roughly 2-3 more weeks for final harvest!
I had a nice harvest of ground cherries (Aunt Molly's) this year for the first time- just sprinkled the seeds in a large pot and ignored it, LOL! This was also the first year I had ever tried them. There's nothing I've ever tasted like them, but I personally find them delicious and addicting. They're not tomatillos at all in terms of taste. Ground cherries taste like fruit, not like green tomatoes. Sort of like pineapple, banana, apple. They'd make a really great jam if you could get enough. I'm going to try to do that next year with mine... plant a whole bed of them and save them up for canning. As I'd work in the garden I'd pop them in my mouth and they were like weird sweet pops of refreshment.
