I think there are a couple varieties of this--the one I've been hearing about the past week or so is the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion. I'm not sure if this is the one I have or not--might be just the plain T.S. In any case it's insanely hot. I'm interested in trying to cook something w/ it, but at the same time a little scared.
    We'll see!

Well on further inspection, I'm not sure it's actually a Trinidad Scorpion, even though the label says World's Hottest Pepper. It says something in the fine print about a Caribbean Red Pepper, which I thought was just a generic term for a red pepper from the Caribbean (which includes Trinidad, so...) But on further research, I'm thinking it is probably the Caribbean Red variety of Habanero, which is still mighty hot, but not along the lines of TS.
A bit disappointing, but probably more edible.
I may still try to get hold of some TS seeds or plant; there are 2 varieties: Butch T (the previous "hottest in the world", and Moruga (the newest hottest). I've found a few plant websites that carry it.
