Persian Limes!

    They do look great. How long will it be til they are ripe?

    I think they will ripen in about 4 to 6 weeks. Perhaps a bit sooner if the much awaited Monsoon rains come on time.

    Rain water over here seems to have some kind of magical properties, which promotes speedy growth! Perhaps it's because our regular water supply is a bit salty (as we are so close to the Arabian sea). It's not enough to taste, but chemically speaking it's more salty than water in other places.

    While rain water is totally fresh, with some trace amounts of nitrates (created during the discharge of atmospheric lightning). Those nitrates of course as we all know are a very important natural fertilizer...
