I have made up my mind that I am going to the vet today and buying worm medicine for the neighbor's cat :-x That poor thing is not looking well and I am disgusted that they won't do anything about it! Is this wrong? Am I being a "Busy Body"? This is one of the sweetest cats you'll ever meet. I'd like to take him to the groomer too but just can't afford it. His hair is terribly matted. Do you know if worms can affect the hair and coat on a cat?
Hi Deanna, oh i think i would do the same for that cat,..no you are not being a Busy Body at all,..kind and considerate i would label you. Those worms can be in the cats hair in the shape of eggs but die off quickly enough,..cats do get worms very easy from close contact with other cats,..or eating raw meat,..or from birds and rodents they eat,..but worms are easy enough to treat. All of my cats are well after the sneezing and coughing,..not forgetting the sore eyes,..the only cat to still suffer is "Tiny",..and i am still working on this. If only "Tiny" would stay at home so he could be treated instead of going on the tiles at night he might be cured by now. "Plain",..and "Brownie". ( photo / image / picture from Philip Nulty's Garden ) "Fluffy",.."Rawhide",..and "Spot". ( photo / image / picture from Philip Nulty's Garden )
Huge improvement in "Tiny",..rubbed the ointment in to his eye several times per day,..i think i have got the better of his illness. ( photo / image / picture from Philip Nulty's Garden )
Thank you Farmer, "Tiny",..has just gone through a painful eye disorder,..but real improvement can be seen from looking at previous posts. How are your eyes Tiny ( photo / image / picture from Philip Nulty's Garden ) .................................................... See. Just one,..its "Olivia's",..that trollop,..she carried it from the cat house around to the front of the house,..climbed through the bathroom window and placed it on the sitting room carpet,..of course she has taken up residence in the front room. "Olive",..Olive,..we never had an Olive,..after careful consideration we all agree,..seeing even WE don't know if its a boy or girl,..we can change the name from Olive to Oliver if need be. We agree!,..its Olive. ( photo / image / picture from Philip Nulty's Garden ) As i am the oldest,.my word is final,..its Olive.
