    Philip, Every time you post your 10 cats, I can't hardly keep up...Well, As I count we are up to 5... What is another 5? more litter and cat food, that is all. And maybe a few more treasures at the garage door daily :rolleyes: Such thoughtful kitties I have. Do yours bring you treasures, also?

    Hi Carolyn,
    10 cats is the count i have at present,..though i suspect there is something outside in the cat house,..i dare not look.

    Food wise they use 4 Kg's per week plus scraps,..not including special treatment for "Rawhide" who only eats meat,..he refuses dried food,..the other special is "Tiny",..always frail and squints as he has weak eyes,..soooo he gets his whisked raw egg daily along with eye drops, :rolleyes: .

    Presents offered to me vary,..but never appreciated,..large live worms,..the bigger the more pleased they think i will be,..legs and feathers of birds they scoffed and remembered to bring some home to me,..a dead rabbit dragged through the snow in winter by a cat half its size,..a live grey squirrel,..who knocked everything down as it and the cats turned my living room into what looked like the aftermat of a roudhouse brawl,..oh yea,..a dead rat,.. and great fun was had by all torturing a live mouse.

    A new kid on the block,..i spotted my cat "Olivia",..heading into the Cat House on a few occasions so i stuck my camera close to the opening and could see a small shape,..not clear enough though,..but when "Olivia" was gone walk about i used the camera with flash,..lo and behold there was one kitten,..just one,..Deanna named it "Smudge".

    First kitten to appear was "Smudge",..whose mother is "Olivia",..they were residing outside in the cat house.

    Second batch appeared behind my hot house,.."Blinken",.."Whiten",..and "Nod"(Black Kitten),..whose mother is "Brownie".

    All of my cats were brought up in a baby bath until they were three months old,..so when i let the two mothers see the bath tub with bedding,..BOTH mothers deposited the kittens in it.

    The two mothers allow the four kittens to feed,..also the Grandmother,.."Plain",..allows the kittens to feed,..she lost her kittens of late,..so the two mothers and the grandmother take turns to mind and feed the kittens as seen in the link below.

    Hi Oubee,
    "Smudge",..seems to have no fear,..i suppose being born alone and being out in the garden cat house listening to every sound would either break or make a personality,.."Smudge" made it for the period he was alone.

    =====================================================

    Hi Droopy,
    another "Smudge" fan,..i think Stratsmom is another fan,.."Smudge" is a good looking kitten.

    You know I am :D I had to take Missy Mama to the vet this afternoon :'( I tried trimming her claws yesterday and noticed one had grown into the pad of her toe :eek: I was worried but the vet said it was no biggie. Didn't seem to phase her one bit ;) He was impressed that she was in such good shape for such an old cat :-D

    Hi Deanna,
    that's something i have never attempted,..cutting cats claws,..however the dogs need cutting from time to time,..Molly doesn't mind,..but not Hudson...so your Missy Mama wasn't distressed at all with the chore in progress,..that is a good cat,..and in good condition as well,..that is to your credit.
