Hi Cayuga Morning,..i think they all heard you and took a snooze,..well whatever number are here,..i know but would anyone else . Count the cats and kittens. ( photo / image / picture from Philip Nulty's Garden ) ===================================================== Hi Barb,..i hadn't named them and it was Stratsmom who gave the name "Tux",..and donna in nc who names "Stripes",..two names that never entered my mind. Philip
Hi Philip, How many kitties do you have these days? They are so cute! Why are kitties so precious when they're asleep?
Hi Kay,..the tally is 13 felines,..only 8 present for regular meals,..then 2 stragglers who like to eat alone,..3 are on walkabout,..for three weeks! ,..i keep a list and tick off those present on parade each day . ====================================================== Hi Deanna,..yeaaaaa you guessed right!,..and it was no easy task to work out,..those present in the picture are Blinken,..Whiten,..Smudge,..Popeye,..Stripes and Tux. Clara2. ( photo / image / picture from Philip Nulty's Garden ) Clara2,..big cat small legs. ( photo / image / picture from Philip Nulty's Garden )
Hi Deanna,..you have me laughing here,..comparing yourself to Clara2,..see what i mean by big cat short legs in the pictures below. ( photo / image / picture from Philip Nulty's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from Philip Nulty's Garden )
Hi Deanna,..nice description,..purrfect!,..Clara2 has not left the vicinity of the garden for a few weeks now,.. whereas before that it was a case of just turning up for the odd meal. ======================================================= Hi Cheryl,..the two striped cats,..Popeye and Stripes cause the confusion as to how many cats were in the shot,..but you were close . ======================================================= After being on a walkabout for a few weeks Rawhide returned tonight,..made a big fuss of leg rubbing and looking for his head to be scratched. I decided the cats should not have any more kittens,..and that the local Tom Cats should not be pestering my cats,..nor my own Toms be pestering other females and my own,..there can be bedlam in the garden from time to time,..howling and hissing and a gnashing of teeth. Sooooo i did a deal with the local Animal Care,..they gave me cages to capture the felines and then they collected them,..treated them against Cat Flu,..Fleas and Ticks,..Worms,..then removed their happy organs. Cost per Male is £25-$32.95 and the Females £45-$59.32,..so far i have had five done,..three Males and two Females,..alas the last three are a tad elusive. strange thing,..you would imagine after the episode with the cages they would shun a cage,..but no,..the pictures below are two days later,..they decided to sleep in the cages,..perhaps this is a hint that they want to take another trip. Soooooo having had the felines doctored i was pleased with myself,..no more additions to the cat family,..or so i thought ,..while having breakfast i glanced along the garden path and here comes my oldest cat with two kittens in tow,..she had them somewhere other than in my garden and waited until they were walking to take them HOME,..the count now is 8 regulars and two kittens,..not including the three still on walkabout. The new arrivals. ( photo / image / picture from Philip Nulty's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from Philip Nulty's Garden ) "Plain",..The Mother. Oh, that first one looks like my office cat Missy Mama!! We have acquired a new little face to our collection also :-D A small, sleek haired black cat showed up for dinner tonight. I don't know if it is a he or a she but it had the cutest little "squeak" when I petted it The neighbor and I are making plans to get it to the vet...wish us luck! I think this bumps our count up to 12
