Right,..birds won't expect me to pounce out of the blue. Yea,...yea,..lets just wait,..they will come to me.
I could do with a couple of your cats at the moment Philip. We seem to be having an invasion of field mice here. As long as they stay in the garden and don't want to wander into the house I'll let them stay.
Eileen,..do you notice a tip of the ear missing?,..around here they cut off the tip to show the cat was doctored. Clara of course is the exception,..no visits to the vet as yet,..fingers crossed. Its so warm this past week that Whisper is indoors sleeping.
I've seen the ear notching in many feral cat colonies. It's the only sure way of knowing who'd been 'done' and who hasn't. Do they have a free neutering programme in your area?
They will do it and the worming plus injections,..for a donation,..which is fine by me,..though they did take eight of mine ( when i had eight ) over a year ago for £200,..were i to get them doctored in the Vets it would have cost me double that sum. Yes seeing at a glance which cats were done saves time and bother,..ear notching is a good idea. Old Poker Face Clara.
