Lol,..Dennis gives me a start quite often,.. when he falls off something,..it tends to make a lot of noise when falling into the fuel bucket or paper basket,..then scramble out not knowing what has happened to him :setf_051:

I really don't see much of the cats this time of year,..too many young birds about,..tempting the cats,..though no feathers in the garden so far,..touch wood.

'Whisper',..on the house roof hoping for a stupid mistake from a bird.

More cunning and sly is 'Dennis',..yet very affectionate.

Eileen,..in order to get up there he has to go beyond the house next door,..jump up on a six foot wall,..jump from there to the roof of the house,..climb along that roof to mine,..then jump on top of that shed,..i guess he knows what his plans are,..birds i guess.

Hi Philip, just read about you cat tails sorry about your loss. Some people can be so cruel...
I have learned that here if you want to keep your cat around they need to be fixed or else they wander. Here we have to many predators. Coyoties, skunkes, owels, hawks. Now I get my cat fixed & make sure he's inside at nite. I too have a ginger cat. Had him for past 5 years. Hubby brought him home when he was less then 4 weeks old. People giving the kittens away didn't know better I guess. Had to get him a bottle & kitten formula to get food into him or he would have died. Needless to say, he is really a mommas boy 20170608_092107.jpg
This is my baby. I named him Tiny! Lol

Bosque,..seeing i live so close to the river most people cherish having a few cats in the area,..our river rises very high after summer has gone and rats will leave the flood area and head inland,..those of us who never see a rat have a cat or two,..those that see and fear rats often,..they don't have cats or like them:).

Your cat was very lucky as a kitten that it ended up with you,..its surprising the amount of people who wouldn't have known what to do,..lol at his name,..he has got bigger.

You do have a lot of predators,..nothing here except weird people,..like two girls screaming across from my house,..they thought the Hedgehog was a rat.:whistling:

Not for the first time,..Dennis finds the most uncomfortable spot in the garden,..there is only a top of a pole the size of a mug where he is sleeping.

OUCH!! I've heard of a cat on a hot tin roof but Dennis is going a step further. Careful little man we don't want Philip having to rush you to the vet.

Hi Kay,..lol once will be enough and i can visualize it,..he goes into a deep sleep lets his tail dangle over the side of the stove,..it does get singed then he wakes up and runs out of the sitting room into the hall then the bathroom and out the bathroom window,..its a funny sight and he never learns his lesson :)
