Biita, it really doesn't matter where in Greece you go, because there are so many historical places all over the country and islands. Some of the islands are run over by partying youngsters every summer, and might not be a very good choice though. We like Crete too, but saw too little of it to find a favourite spot there. We need to go back some day and check out the labyrinth.
Your photos are wonderful and about as close as I'll get. We don't fly and I don't do boats if I can't see the shore. Not that seeing the shore is all that great as I can't swim either. Thanks for the photos. dooley
