Tina, #7 and 8 are some kind of Amsomia. I usually fall in love with certain flowers or plants and buy as many different kinds as I can find. It's just in my nature. I am nuts about things like that. Willow and Wisteria are half sisters, three months apart. They have the same father. You'd never know it, would you. They are so good, they only go outside maybe once a week. They "go" on a wee wee pad in the hot tub room. So when we take them outside they don't leave my side more than about 6 feet. They are mama's babies. Netty, I love this peony. It is a beauty. I tie it up and around so the rain doesn't smash it down. I can enjoy the flowers so much longer than if I let them be smashed down with the rain. this is a good example. they have been flowering for 10 days and have had heavy rains almost every day. Well Barb, I don´t know how I missed this thread, but I did. It is full of such nice fotos of your lovely flowers. Gad! And it seems that the measurements of your property is generous. You have a little bit of everything. Amazing. I just have to roll through them again.
Why thanks Sjoerd. How nice of you to say. These photos are taken with my $100.00 camera or my cheap camera phone. We have a very lovely piece of property but we searched for it for 7 years before we found the right land and house. It had allot of drawbacks that, we knew we had to over come but it was worth it. I didn't know it was so nice until I started posting these pictures. With all the replies and PM's it made me look at the land and our hard work differently. It is growing up to be beautiful. I can't wait till next year to see the maturity of these plants that I love so much. I am beginning to have more and more joy each day that passes. Barb in Pa.

Hi Barb, I love it all, lovely blooms and usually the result of lots of hard work and effort.I cant imagine our 'baby' not going outside for a week though! He loves the outdoors and specially the beach, which we have to 'spell' when we talk about going there. ( photo / image / picture from chocolate's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from chocolate's Garden ) I am sure your 'babies' bring you so much joy, like ours does to us. Very nice to have them related to one another too. If there is any gaps in your life they certainly fill them up.
Hay chocolate, You see, My babies were never went outside until they were 2 years old, so they didn't miss it. The bigger one does love to go outside now that we showed her, and she loves to run. That scares me. They are cutie pies, though. When I open the french doors they run for it. Barb in Pa.

If your Black Walnut is anything like the ones that were growing in the trailer park where I used to live... I'd consider getting rid of it. The gazillion nuts on the ground was always a pain to walk on or around. And mowing was like having cannon balls flying everywhere. I used to give each of the neighbor kids 50 cents a bucket to pick them up and toss them over the back fence. Pretty tree... and great for shade... but all those "useless" walnuts. UGH!
Ah, My Black Walnut Tree is going into a holey bottom five gallon bucket, and then put in the ground and the branches will be kept short. I may let that get to about 12 feet. It will be a bonsai, of sorts. I have done that with a few trees around here, like my Contorted Willow Tree. I only let that get to 5 feet tall. chocolate, You got that right. Barb in Pa.
