    Donna those are some good pic's. A new camera can be fun and frustrating at the same time.
    I have had my digital camera for 3 years and I still don't know half of the stuff it can do. I also like the Black & white setting on mine. You get so much more contrast with a black & white photo than with a colored.
    One thing I do not like about my camera is that the colors aren't quite true enough. They are usually deeper that the flower's original colors. Oh well. Have fun with your new pic taker. :stew1:

    All the photos are nice except for the first photo. I think the camera is focusing on the background more than the flower. Some cameras for this kind of shot get confused from the background and the subject. To correct this situation hold the camera really close to the subject and slight depressed the button that take the picture, hold it there, compose the photo and shot. This is a way of telling the camera which is the subject.
