here is my bald cypress at my pond. it looks better than the ones up in my yard. It is one I planted when it was a baby, so it is nowhere near 600 years old! I planted the other two also.
Your garden sounds lovely, especially with those nostalgic pictures. I totally get the struggle with photo sizes. I once had a similar issue trying to upload pics of my garden blooms. Even though they were JPEGs, they kept getting flagged as "too big." Turns out, a simple jpg compress did the trick, allowing me to share my garden joys hassle-free.
I'm a bit surprised at myself now, about how I ended up missing this wonderful thread up till today... But I'm glad I've seen it at last. Beautiful pictures all - So thanks for sharing!
