The Throwback Thread I really enjoy old pictures, so I thought it would be fun to post images of ourselves, our spouses, kids from waaaay back in the day. I'll start. Me at 2 years old. I was not happy to have my picture taken, can you tell? I'm 5 or 6 here, in the back garden of my house in Australia. I'd just gotten that kitten and was in love! Early 60's. I'm with my niece. Back in 1980. Me, and Lee, my housemate, before various marriages, divorces, and children. We've known each other a LONG time! Circa 1986, before my 5th child Paige was born, and long before my divorce from their father. The kids LOVED dressing up for Halloween, and I loved creating their costumes and makeup. Circa 1990 just after Paige was born. I should have kept that ET shirt….I could probably sell it on ebay now for lots of money. Of course, back then, there WAS no ebay. Around 1992. Paige and me I think this was around 1997, another of Paige and me. OK I showed you mine. Now you show me yours.
Great collection of photos. Were you busy scanning? Is it just me or is that photo with your ex really telling. Seems to me to almost be two separate photos :-? Love the photo of you at two. I have a little pair of little shoes just like those hanging around.
Hi Ronni, Thanks for sharing your oldies. Especially love the one of you with your new kitten. Umm, I don't think I can share any at this time... I am not about to attempt another task on my computer. I just figured out how to shrink pics from my new camera and get them posted. That's enough for now But I will enjoy seeing others!
Wonderful pictures Ronni! I enjoy looking at old pictures, even when I have no idea who's in it... I see them all the time at the flea market I sometimes visit I got some pics of my parents mostly, and maybe just one or two of me as a child. I guess my parents got their kicks with my elder brother, and when they had me they didn't feel excited enough to take pictures??? Or is it just that they were too busy with work, or didn't have a camera and so on ???

These are photos I've had scanned for a while. I do have a massive photo scanning project that I'm in the beginning stages of, and likely won't get very far on till I'm retired. I have about 10 albums of photos from when the kids were little, and they're the only copies. They need to be scanned and digitally saved. Then I want to create an album for each of the kids so they have their own copies of childhood memories. And yeah, I hadn't really looked at that photo in a long time, but I guess it is pretty telling, huh? Very perceptive of you. The kids are all kind of gathered around me, and Randy is off to one side. Not surprising, he was/is a verbally, emotionally, and mentally abusive you-know-what and right before I left, it started to get physical too. Took me way longer than it should have to leave him, but at least I finally did…some women in the grip of that kind of abuse never do! Oh. I had no idea, Frank! I looked back a ways to see, but obviously I didn't look far back enough. Do you want to just delete this thread?
