    Hi Sydney,

Good to hear from you too. Here are some photos of my grandmother's china. It was collected over many years & is actually china from two different companies. (I guess we are not particular!)

On second thought, I can't upload the photos. All are too large & I no longer can access a program to reduce them :(. Oh well.

Hi CM. I had this problem yesterday sending the pics of the jugs etc. On my old XP there was a good free download resizing prog but Win 7 has none. I managed finally by shrinking them to minimum (quality) in Picasa but have to say it was more luck than judgement - I am not hot on PC's. Would love to have seen your china items. There is companies that undertake to find replacement lost or broken china in Google.
Am about to try sending some pics of individual figures so here goes. See you later. Syd.

Hi CM. Thanks for that - they are very well made and the painting, colour and detail is as you agree fine, it can be really well seen close up. To me also they have great charm aided by the period type dress and subject. Have the male figure partners to some and they also are nice but lack that certain something the lady figures have - less bright. Most are German Sitzendorf etc but some French Samson. Pottery and Porcelain forms a big part in my interests and I spend time reading about them and my other items learning what I can. Nice to talk. Thanks again. Syd.

Hi. Very pleased that you like them and thanks for the interest. Have been collecting and studying pottery and porcelain for many years - so very much of it is unmarked thus plenty of scope trying to find maker, pattern names, age etc - much interest for me also but have barely scratched the surface and no expert.

For a long time it was mainly just blue and white 19th century items of all types but gradually got into other types - white and cream based floral and then these figures. Over all probably 20 years plus but with the
figures more recently - along with jugs.

    Syd.

Hi. It would be very nice to see some of others collecting if possible and convenient plus of course any thoughts about it all generally.
Have some pics of floral cup saucer and sideplate trios so will post a few if I may for interest and conversation. Syd.

I have allot of collections. German smokers, a special Italian silver flatware, and matchbooks.

Hi. A few pics of some of the china Trios I mentioned. Looked for a nice floral pattern on all three items and if poss some also inside the cups. Syd.
Edit. Selection of smaller jugs - 4-5in high.
