    WOW. a BUD!
I'm excited about mine. They are in temporary plastic tubs (RED ONES - didn't really think the color would fit, but had no time to look around for different ones).
For now it's just an experiment to seeee!
Will see today when I go to my parents house if there's any new development... or my parents' cows drank all the water!
Good thing we had some rains the past days!
    :)

good luck calinromania! Okay another question lol the bud is is just beginning to open enough for me to see color through the green but the color i see is white that fades down to light pink. Did they send the wrong lily or does it get darker before fully blooming heres some pics

That's great! 4 in just a few weeks? I think you got a very healthy water lily.

From what you've posted here... you've put alot of thought, work and caring into those water lilies. I think you deserve all the glory... and okay... so a little bit of luck doesn't hurt!
    So, I'll just say "bravo"!

    Very pretty.
I think you'd prefer a darker red one, right?
But this is just as cool.
My w-lilies are still just waking up now. And in a plastic pot, not sure how many blooms I'm gonna see.
    But if I do, I will post a pic,of course :)

I'll bet frogs would find this pond a great place to 'hang out.'

speakin' of the devils I've had a couple frogs show up in the past week! they are too shy to pose for the camera so far but they feel at home enough to lay eggs!! how exciting although my fish will eat the tadpoles wont they?

    FROGS!
I found a frog in one of the pots (with my waterlilies) and I got it out. It jumped and later on found it (or a twin sister) back in the pot.
This was after I put 3 fish I bought in each of the two pots. Red Xipho. I was shocked when I saw this second frog. Big one. DO they eat fish?
Got this second frog out too, with my hands, and took it away like 50 m away from our yard. Will it come back ???
I found one of the fish on the ground. Either scared when I was trying to catch the frog, or the frog scared it.
Couldn't find the other two fish in that pot. Water a bit blurry from all the locomotion.
In the other pot- no idea where the fish is. But the waterlilies cover most of the surface.
    Really wondering...

You can move them out if you dont like them but they are not going to harm your fish. they only eat insects so no worries. actually if they lay eggs your fish will eat the tadpoles! free treats for the fishies! once the frogs know its there they most likely will keep coming back.
