Prayers for you and your dear wife John. I hope it is in the early stages and they can successfully treat it.
We received good news yesterday. The ultrasound technician said that everything looked normal but the specialist would have to look at it. Her PCP said there was an artery leading to the kidney that was severely restricted and he thinks that a balloon inserted would solve the problem. There has been a big improvement in her deposition.
Well, thank heavens! I cannot imagine how relieved you and your dear wife are, but please know that all of us on the Stew are relieved and pleased, too.
I hope you can get to see the consultant soon and that the balloon can be inserted quickly. You must be so relieved John to know everything isn't quite as bad as you had thought. Pass on our good wishes to Jo-Rene and tell her we're all hoping she'll soon be feeling much better.
Great news today. Jo-Rene went to see the kidney specialist and she said the artery was restricted but not more than normal for her age. The doctor said that her health was excellent. She is running around the house like a teenager now but I wouldn't want to be her PCP on her next visit.
Wonderful, now you have a teen-ager to cope with, John! I am so very happy for you both--the spouse goes through a lot, as well as the one with the health problem. Both of you can look forward to a happy, healthy New Year!
Went looking for this thread to see what the outcome was, and I am SO relieved to read such good news!!
Wonderful! Oh, I was so worried when I started reading, but now I'm smiling. Big hugs to you both, keep jumping about.
