Prim, loverly pictures. I really like the daffs in with the ferns, that is very pretty.
I have been thinking of trying bluebells again. Had some many years ago but didn't have a full garden area for them to have the right growing condtions.

There were a few things I saw at the garden center the other day that I want but don't have a place ready for them yet. Next payday I will have to go get them before the good ones are all gone.

I thought I'd share two little things among all that is happening - one is that the unusual looking daffy bulbs (I think they were called "Replete") that I put in last fall did in fact yield very interesting looking daffys! Here's one of them I took a picture of this morning:

And the other is my "tipsy pots" project came out better than I had hoped - thanks so much for the idea! I like that it will be easy to take apart later on if I can get a birdbath or solar fountain for that blank spot in the yard, as I hope someday. I've put little flowering 'creeping' type plants in the pots, so they should pour over the edges this summer.

    Yay!

A very daffy daffy Prim. It is really pretty. Your tipsy pots came out great. I am going to redo mine, add two larger pots to the bottom and move them away from my sign. The detract from each other.

That's the tallest tipsy pot creation I've seen Prim, it looks great! Did you find it quite easy to construct?

I like the tall Tipsy Pots. What plants did you use?

Mine needs to be redone, I used the pots I had on hand last year and they just don't graduate in size the way they should to look the best.

It's about 5 and a half feet tall, is my guess - I got the longest rebar I could at the hardware store, because I wanted a fairly tall focal point. It was *very* easy to do, once I had decided on how many of which size of pot to get. I can't even remember what all the plants are - they're all different creeping/cascading varieties that bloom blue, pink or white. The very top one is a creeping charley (the only non-bloomer) the bottom is lobelia, and there's some million-bells somewhere in the middle.

It will be surrounded by that carpet of bluebells pretty soon, but once those die back there isn't much of interest in that spot, so this should help.
