I was just wondering how you got the idea to make your bottle fountain Doyle? It's so different from anything I've seen before and I'm impressed that you've done all the work yourself. I'm going to show your photographs to my eldest son as he's been looking for a feature for his garden that is totally different from the 'run of the mill' ones you get in the shops. :-D

The fountain and lights are up and running. I still have to fill the barrel with egg rock which will control the splash. It will only have half the amount of water also. I also plan on having a couple of wine glasses and a couple of bunches of plastic grapes sitting in the barrel for the water to flow over. It has a beautiful sound, and you can sit and watch the lights change colors for hours. Pictures really don't do it justice. I have a video of it running at night with the sound, and the lights changing colors that is awesome.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I enjoy the challenge of figuring out how to make things work. My goal with this fountain is to have one of the local wineries put it on display with their own brand of wine bottles on it.

Yes please, what Frank said! *batting eyelashes* I'd love to see and hear that special fountain of yours. And if the store knows what's good for them, they'll fetch that fountain very quickly.
