Question about clover in the vegetable garden

Just leave the darn clover !~

 

I have Oxalis under all my trees ! Mine is pink ! Love it !

 

I did notice that when we lived in Texas it had pink flowers. My clover are blooming and they are yellow. One of the pots of potatoes (Blackberry) are really blooming! I still have 5 pots, and one is (Huckleberry) starting to bloom. I have 6 peas on one of my 2 pea plants. And something is having a feast on my beet leaves. Whatever it is, leaves my lettuce alone, but loves beet greens! So; does anyone know, will my beets grow? Or are they going to put all their energy into making more tops?
Other then that, I haven't done much the last few days because we've had rain. My granddaughter and I went over to get crickets and meal worms for George, on Saturday. I started to rain and at one point it was raining so hard I (and others on the road) had to pull over because I couldn't see anything. We sat there for about 15 minutes before it let up enough and we could head home. Sunday was good, but again yesterday we had rain. I did go out early this morning and pulled up some dill, that had seeded from last years dill. So I have dill and stevia trying right now. I looked at zucchini, when I cut the stevia, and I have several babies starting.So now I need to watch more closely so I don't end up with a zucchini log!

 

I have had several zucchini logs ! Surprisingly they are still good to eat if you peel and cut into bite size pieces ! Or grate and make fritters or just add onion and pan fry ! Make sure the log isn`t too big !

 

When I would get "logs" given to me, back in the day, I'd take the seeds out, then grate and freeze for zucchini bread in the winter. I never thought about fritters, back then.
