Typical, rain is coming tomorrow, just as we head to Longleat Safari park. Oh well, to be honest, I want the rain!

You can have all of our rain you want. 15 days striaght with showers and another 6 on the way. We need some sunshine here and lots of it or everything will mold instead of grow.

   I will turn on a huge fan here and blow it all your way.

My rain dance must have worked ... it has been raining hard for about 3 hours now. Weatherman says it will continue all night too. We sure go from one extreme to another around here ...

Please take some of the rain I had wished for :!: We had no April showers, but May has had windy, cold nonstop downpours here in the Puget Sound, with June beginning to look like a carbon copy.

I seem to be growing only slugs with the cold weather. If I could send you some of our cool 50F rainy weather I would be oh so happy to share. ;)

The slugs have been growing well. I've even tried picking slugs, uggh! to no avail...they've eaten the snow peas, and left the chard. :(

I'm learning to be careful what I wish for...

Do slugs serve any useful purpose? And what eats slugs? I feel a Google coming on!

Hope the rain needs settle out and get met for everyone. We're still on the dry side. I'm like you Jewell, I'm afraid to wish for rain lest I get more than I want!

We've actually had a rather dryish (!) spring, at least for here, but yesterday and today it's pouring. I shan't complain since it does wonders for the dust and pollen, and the allergics are happy.

As for slugs, they're garbage workers, supposed to eat semi-dead foliage and such, but unfortunately they like to munch on green plants too.

Hedgehogs eat slugs. I think frogs do too. I haven't seen any birds feasting on them, but I wish they would.

Oh, man, there must be a shield up around us. There was some heavy rain to our west about 20 miles, street flooding and all that but I remain dry as a bone over here.
North Texas is having little pop-up storms because of the high temperatures, they pop-up drop heavy rain and sometimes large hail. They don't move across an area just stay where they are until all the rain is gone then they dissipate.
But you never know when or where they will pop-up and so far they haven't seen fit to grace me with their presence.

So could the rain dancers be a little bit more specific on where they want the rain to fall? I can give you latitude and longitude if that will help.

We had masses of rain on Tuesday, but the sun has been beating down ever since. So, I am happy-ish. Looks like showers on Sunday and Monday also...just in time for me to go back to work.
