It said on news this AM that Cedar Rapids had 2.something inches of rain in July.We got maybe an inch in first week of July.Nothing in Aug & looks like nothing for at least 10 days.Neighbor checked an ear of corn on our morning walk.It looks pretty good.Sweet corn was excellent around here. We even had some in our garden.I have my new daylilies potted but we are preparing soil & will plant in a couple weeks even if it doesn't rain.Got 2 big buckets of rabbit poo to improve soil.People in town have 22 rabbits for kids 4H & are glad we can take it. sNs
Boy you tell who has sandy soil . Some of the beans are dead . Going to have to put sand point in. Last year got notice -no watering of flowers. I never water lawn -would go broke.
