Not seen a deer near here but it might give our late night intruder a shock next time they try to walk through it
Looks to be a substantial fence. Kudos. Ding ding ding...you're right @Pacnorwest . Those pics of a prevailing post (May Peace Prevail on Earth) were taken at the Naples (Florida) Botanical Garden.
Cor, I just googled the place, and if that garden was a bit closer I think we would be paying a visit @Cayuga Morning - there's enough there to keep a smile on a certain someone's face for at least a month!!
It is beautiful. Equally impressive is the Naples Nature Conservancy. Great exhibits, they are doing great environmental work in south Florida & the volunteers are very knowledgeable. Remember the joke about "have I got a deal for you!....beautiful land for sale in south Florida!"... that turned out to be under water for a chunk of the year? That was of course in the Everglades. The Nature Conservancy was instrumental in halting the draining of the Everglades & the massive development of the area. We go visit "the Blocks" every year (a very large area of avenues & roads & canals. .no houses no other development) that is slowly being turned back into its natural state. It's very interesting. The paved roads are long gone as are many of the canals. The natural world is proliferating.
Seen the Everglades magnificent. Rode over the water in air boats . So much to see and memories . Crocs are huge.. lots of wildlife, trees , shrubs and flowers in the Everglades is astounding. I agree the environmentalists have been hard at work to maintain a treasure .
Tetters Not so fast.. I have bigger fish to fry than all that housework… yikes. Like painting my fingernails bright blue… ya never know when you’re gonna need blue nails to hide all gardening traces when needed for special occasions.
Yeah, I know what you mean - then there's shopping for some new gear, and long soaks in the bathtub as well
