Thanks all. His mom has had a relatively good year since he passed. Our niece lives with her and makes sure she doesn't sit at home on the weekends, they are always going somewhere. During the week she has her Boston Terrier Buddy to talk to and take for walks and she has makes daily trips to Walmart. Course she is not a confident driver so she is the little old lady driving 40 miles an hour in the far right lane on the highway that people make jokes about. We are picking her up Friday morning and taking her to her sister's house in south Texas. Because of his Dad's other health problems over the last 5 years the sisters have not been together more than once. Her sister is 85 and has some health issues and they want to spend some time together while they still can. It's a 4 hour drive from her house so we have hotel reservations and a list of Antique/junque stores to visit in that area while they visit.
toni sorry to hear off your loss also but nice to hear his mom his leading a normal life with family close by and visiting family and bless her with her dog and there's nothing better than the strength of family to support you.
Oh my. I am so very sorry guys, my deepest condolences. I'm very glad to hear that his Mom is able to spend some time with her sister, you are wonderful for making that happen! How is Randy doing toni? He OK?
